The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 打着韩国《辩护人》的称号，自然增加了不少期待。得益于叙事的方式和节奏，三个小时的片长并不觉得冗长乏味。社会命题固然沉重，但整个庭审胜利和伟光正的主角，未免有些轻巧了。（3.5星）

真相大概从警察说出犯人越狱的时候就知道了，但是丝毫不影响观看。
电影本身拍摄手法一般，胜在真实事件改编&社会意义（种姓、阶级、贫富、金钱、权力），演技也不错。
（印度拍片的确是不行，胜在真实故事改编，正义居然真的战胜了邪恶，胜在能拍能放，一个喝恒河水的落后国家居然精神也能比我们领先？战狼不服。）

不知道实际情况会怎么推进进程，单从电影的角度来说，案件拨乱反正的过程太容易了，黑警的反抗太弱鸡，不够“专业”，态度也不够彻底。
他们在法律上剔除了种族隔离的条文，
与政府对抗，这是一条多么艰难的路。
尽管我软弱凑合提不起个，但每每看到这种故事，整个人又都支愣起来了。追求正义的人那么耀眼！
这个社会意义得十颗星啊。超级英雄片的处理把一个非常沉重的社会议题变得偶尔迸发一点娱乐精神，三个小时看下来也不累，这样才能触达最广大的受众啊。广播质感也是杠杠的，印度电影有一手！
要比《辩护人》要艰难许多~
