The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Starts with a wedding and ends with a funeral. An old lady died and a new baby is born. Downton is moving on in all different ways. “I wish you well. And I hope you’ll be as happy as the cruel world allows.”

感觉更像是一部主线无关的番外，虽然唐顿跟随世界迎来了新的时代，但还是希望能继续保持优雅平和的气质，而不是在纷纷乱乱的新世界中丧失自己的步调。
the end…比较轻松，还有笑点，隔壁一男的每每有点幽默的场景时候就发出“哎呀…”的声音…

伯爵家这么大的家业，修缮阁楼屋顶的钱也没有吗？伯爵居然不是法国佬的儿子，有点失望。另外导演跟玛丽没有来段激情戏，则稍显遗憾。
对这类新式仿古典通俗剧，演员发挥都四平八稳，实在没有多大兴趣，也就勉强可以看看
有婚礼，有葬礼，有新生儿，有新时代，还有电影局的剪刀。
虽然我没看过电视剧，但是还是被里面精美的场景、服装还有人物的演技吸引住了，抛开之前的剧情，这还是一个完整的、很不错的故事。
希望唐顿庄园系列永远不要完结，衍生剧什么都请继续拍下去……
以婚礼开始，以葬礼结束。从无声电影到有声电影的转变，以及老奶奶的离世，都呼应了标题，唐顿庄园的new era的开始。

开头是tom的婚礼，结尾是老夫人的葬礼。全家南法度假，mary给电影配了个音小暧昧了一把，姐夫全程不在。不过汤马斯为什么要离职，去美国了嘛？
始于颜值，终于老太太的演技，其余都不剩下什么了~
没看过剧和上一部电影版，从这个角度，两个小时还算愉悦
老太太终于完成了历史使命，退出了历史舞台，剧情没有跌宕起伏，还是电视剧好看
虽然俗套，但这些熟悉的人物还是传承着感动，十年来的过往历历在目。granny这次决绝离去，就是不准备再有续集的意思，很好，因为新时代之后又要开始新的战争，而在那以后这个阶级不再存在，就让这个美满的句点由此告终吧。
归宿都有了，结局一眼望到头了，就这样吧（言外之意，不要再拍了！）
本身定位就是粉丝向电影，唐家屯的粉丝能被如此宠着真实万分荣幸！
