The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 画面很有质感，可能是年纪大了，越来越看不得这些揭露人间惨痛现实的电影了

别一天到晚骂了，拍一部以老年女性为主角的“中国电影”，用脚投票去电影院支持它。两条能做到其中一条，你就很棒了！有朋友说这是一部无剧情、反情节、记录风的片子。我不同意。别的不说，电影里音乐满满的，情绪满满的，抒情诗般的镜头，纪录片不是这个拍法啊，又不是《舌尖上的中国》，而且也是有情节有主线的，互为回文，前后呼应。科恩嫂这种大女主应该不是天生的，敬佩。

又细腻又克制，孤独且温柔。像看纪录片一样，真喜欢。
有种海边的曼切斯特的丧感，却又比曼切斯特更积极。
对话写得太好了，几个配角的对白都令人落泪。个体叙事高于一切。

有点raw的画面质感不知是有意为之还是看的版本问题，刻意超出画框的大头和远景交替的镜头语言与意图抒情的叙事和媚俗配乐并不和谐。亚裔，全球化之衰落，现代化之过失，环保自然。政治正确到恶心，金狮给这么个片
整个故事讲得很节制，镜头表达和主角主观的距离感刚刚好，认识这种真实事件对个人生活也有警醒作用
希望片中人不要說話。
没看出有什么特别的深意，只是一个寻常人的寻常故事吧
看到Fern处理掉回忆里所有不舍得丢弃的物品这段，她回到和Po以前的家，后窗有一大片荒地，直到远处的山脚下。我在想，人存在世上的价值到底是什么。
生命因奇遇而滚动
不知道為什麼想到逆光那兩句歌詞。離開釋懷很短暫又重來。吾心安處是吾家，人生後半程孑然一身的在大山大海中找一個parking place，看似淒涼的context但不給予評價。如此嫻熟的調度與情緒克制的演出，好電影。
绝美的地理环境加上一个人的旅程更契合了影片的基调。当弗恩身处荒野，点燃手中的烟火棒，又或者是她裸身步入山间湖泊，对自然赤诚相见之时，那种孤独、漂泊和冒险也就完全褪去了其戏剧性的刺激，转而化做了一种纯粹而浪漫的美国梦“自由”时刻。
除去剪辑配乐和细节处理上缺乏想象力等问题外 还有大部分女导演都会有的一个通病：sentimentally melodramatic
