The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 《希尔达》真的是《怪诞小镇》之后最棒的儿童动画了，剧情有趣，老少皆宜，画风治愈，剧本精巧，用了整整两季铺垫了世界观、人物关系和主线剧情，在这部电影版中回归到真善美和家庭亲情，没有说教却寓教于乐，这么优秀的系列如果就这么完结实在是有些难以割舍
本来格局挺大，最后变成找妈妈，很走心赚眼泪，但也是有点wtf

导演再次献出了花里胡哨的各种影像材料和明星演员的大杂烩，材料特性没能凸显，明星魅力也没有散发出来（梅姨还靠着实力硬撑着）。观影期待值随着影片进度而逐步降低，也是奇妙的体验。
