The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 好温柔的叙述 想念黑白的纽约 以及小人难养
过了一周左右他提起这个电影说是看完有种活着真不错的感觉
岁月的河冲刷着记忆，爱会帮我们刻下那些模糊的日子（9/10）
从未相见过的叔侄二人，有了一段相处的时光。只因妈妈有不得脱身的事。而父母辈兄妹间的情感又有待调和，二人朝此方向努力。这个电影极其微观的视角，诉说着一个真相：人生永远在缺憾中前行。
Wilmette Theater。像Joaquin Phoenix会接的戏（他似乎一直对next generation的生活状态抱有一种悲观主义）一些纪录片技法+声效的运用挺有趣 大小两主演演技极好。黑白美则美也 意义似乎不大 浮于表面形式。不论从剧作 呈现形式 还是主题意义上都略显肤浅。片子像一个休闲下午随意喝了杯淡淡的气泡酒 喝完易忘 甚至不打嗝儿。

杰昆真的是治愈系演员，感觉他很喜欢这一类性格的边缘化角色，有着感性温柔的内心，有着自己的脆弱，just trying to understand others , like all of us.常常会忍不住和他的角色产生共鸣，觉得那简直就是自己。
很简单的电影，特别平淡，特别温柔。舅舅给小朋友读人类来到地球的故事那一段莫名的被感动了。在大的温情框架下渗透了一些零零散散关于人生的思考，温情又不会用力过猛。看到最后才注意到是黑白的。

或许是出于某种奇怪的刻板印象，叔侄关系的一对人物被搬上银幕，总让我觉得导演有颗拍公路片的心。说到本片，主题其实仍然是类似的，无非就是身陷囹圄的成年人被少不更事的孩子治愈（严重一点就是救赎）的故事，全片采用黑白色调就显得非常没有必要，完全起不到氛围严肃的作用，为何不干脆随大流使用干净明亮的色彩呢？不明白导演的用意何在。
想打十星的片子。画面和配乐出色，让人即刻沉浸，即使要跟着华金聆听全世界的城市，我也能一直一直这么看下去。喜欢这种探讨和反思，沟通与表达。做妈妈很难，但还是想抱紧我的宝贝再次说声对不起。
