The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 不自觉拿李侠和余则成做对比，可惜的是将近两个小时的电影，李侠这个人物本可以更丰满，但电影中的时间跨度却削弱了这一点可能性。
既然有两部，不如拍成8集短剧，每集一小时。

没有想象中的枯燥乏味和脸谱化的人物，情节合理、跌宕起伏，对白生动还有和姚韦亦敌亦友这样有趣的人物关系，戏剧思路清晰，非常惊喜。

姚苇这么高的水平怎么被派到前线了，留在后方当老法师不香么？天亡“党国”啊！
比第一部差。真的非常非常讨厌这种“典型的徐克大陆电影”，动作戏场面戏的堆砌看得我昏昏欲睡，仅存的动人力量还是上溯前一部乃至《士兵突击》的兰晓龙遗产。
“同志们，永别了，我想念你们。”让人潸然泪下的台词，有这一句足矣。
居然是孙道临和王心刚的对手戏。无论是演员还是革命先烈，都值得我们崇高的致敬！
