The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 但整个片子感觉凌乱松散，没有紧凑感，观感欠佳。

对于我这样喜欢怀旧的人来说看这部片子就好像吞下了一片能够穿越时空的胶囊，把我拉回童年少年时的岁月。我也曾在看北京奥运会开幕式时睡着，醒来的时候差点错过点火。汶川地震后和家人一起去人声鼎沸的广场“避难”，心里却是为这从来没见过的景象感到兴奋。时间就这样晃啊晃，晃到现在微博炸号豆瓣禁言，那些”载入史册“的事件变得离我愈发遥远，我只想偶尔沉浸在回忆当中，去回访一下那些阳光灿烂的日子。那些记忆依然鲜活，所以我的心里还常怀希望。
如果发生在卢甘斯克的事情是真的话，那么乌克兰现在所遭受的一切就是它的报应。
