The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 什么玩意啊，优势全靠同行衬托，真就你月唯一指定动画化机构幽浮桌？别说不完全燃烧了连个火星都没有，演出毫无感染力，分镜毫无叙述性，音监匪夷所思，这台词念得也能过？这配乐真的有写配乐？看得我狂翻白眼。
不如推主线的时候震撼，CV烧钱所以集体哑巴我真的是……BGM你支棱起来啊BGM！！反倒是ED结束后的那段对话很有张力，罗玛尼我的罗玛尼……呜呜呜……
欧美很喜欢拍的那种青少年寻找自我、告别过去、治愈伤痛，同时找到友情、爱情、亲情的青春片，还可以吧
三星，多给一星给医生和芙芙，游戏表现力远超动画。前半段处理的还行，但后面医生的那段简直了，完全没有当初游戏时候的感动虽然也很感动，医生那段感觉很穷，经费没有投到那段一样，就咕哒夫医生盖提亚三人转，分镜有鬼。另外金皮卡就tm偷懒站桩是吧（对闪闪指指点点）呜呜呜我的医生和达芬奇酱呜呜呜
如果能分上下两章，把隔壁第六节点的经费拿过使用，应该能制作出一部不逊色于第七节点的故事吧。
作为玩家还是比较满意的，但是不得不说我一直也不是很能get游戏的文案表达的意思....

故事比较老套，热血主人公设定，最后医生牺牲比较意外之外，为什么英灵可以无限制出现，自己还要牺牲神经去召唤
英灵群星闪耀之时。但开口说话的好少！有被震撼到，但不是游戏党好多人不认识啊啊啊！我的医生！！！
