The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 用力哭，不如用力跑！真是醍醐灌顶的一句话！感动，励志，已经不需要说太多！但很真实的反映了残疾运动员的现实生活状况以及母亲的心路历程，每个人都不容易，但依然在努力……
很煽情，题材挺好的，演儿子的三个演员都很好，吴君如最精彩的表演竟是开头抱着孩子穿梭在乡路间，可惜后期就很套路了……两母子的戏演得很像情侣，所有镜头都怼脸拍，导致气氛很奇怪，其他的配角挺工具人的……说是传记，但总感觉像妈妈再爱我一次
