The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 全片简洁不拖沓，最后的枪战有种回到老西部片的感觉。不过西部片真的没落了，也只能挖些老素材拍了。
剧情紧凑，没有废话，还有就是不要多管闲事！！！
向旧时代的西部传奇献上一曲挽歌，用最正统的西部片形式，没有任何炫技、戏谑，在朴实的摄影与平缓的叙事中，蕴含巨大的情感张力，故事短小，人物很少，悬念贯穿始终，最后的反转更像是宿命~~~
看之前最好对比利小子有所了解。

总感觉有那么丁点的沉闷和小格局，不过还是有西部味了
窝囊老农是个狠角色，剧情略显拖沓，几个罪犯还是不够狠啊。
看了“比利小子”的历史后顿觉本片又精彩了几分，特别是老演员和真实的“比利小子”的脸型非常相似，但是又是一张非常丧的老农民的脸，这使他最后决战时的英姿显得尤为帅气。舞剑之人必死于剑下，在江湖上混早晚都是要还的，片中的那对渊源在我看来实在是一个十分浪漫的宿命安排。
西部牛仔版农夫与蛇的故事，让人伤心，更何况这个传奇农夫还帅了一整场
不是复仇爽片~对西部片没啥情怀的，就算了，很拖沓~
片子足够完整，但是都普普通通，而且极其老套。感觉就像是看了部几十年之前的美国西部片的重映版。
联想自己：当遇到这种坑货，到底该不该救？答案是别救，钱也别拿，少管闲事。毕竟那么大片林子，就住两户人，屁股想想就知道可能是谁拿走了钱。活着才是最重要的！！！
西部片，一个深藏功与名隐身西部农场前江湖杀手的故事。剧情不紧凑，前面有些散漫，许多对话亦不精彩。后面枪战戏不错，比较干脆利落。故事中儿子的设置没必要，反而拖累剧情。
西部风格，悠远辽阔。大爷虽离江湖已远，但大爷还是那个大爷。
后现代西部片，细腻、苍凉。比利小子依然神一般存在。
有時候你想平靜，路人未必給你平靜，危險處處存在，不訓練兒子應該是特錯大錯，弱肉強食的世界，你弱就淘汰。
开篇像西部广袤风光的静美油画，陡转后变血暴枪战……从颜值推断：去世的孩子妈应该是超级大美女，间接证明老亨利年轻时有多么传奇。
